About Me: My name is Leslie. All the paintings on this site are original acrylics painted in my spare time. I am a retired registered nurse by trade and use painting as a stress reducer.
I have works in several locations A Company of Angels in Lake City. I also have 4 pieces at
Haven Hospice and recently did 2 pieces of artwork at the lake city library, will be doing a talent night at the First Presbyrtian Church on 1/7/09 @ 7pm. I am a member of the Gainesville Fine Arts Association , Artist Regisery of Orlando, recently have joined the Art Leaue of North Florida, and won an honorable mention at the library, web sites: newlescapes.piczo.com, myartspace. com, gainesvillefinearts.com
I have no formal art training and learn as I go. Most of my artwork comes from within, and i very seldomly know what will come out on canvas until it's completed. I love colors and how people respond to them.
